This little rice cooker is great! It's both cute and functional!

I recently started watching what I eat and paying more attention to my food, and decided I should get a rice cooker to help introduced more grains into my diet. I bought a cheap one before I got this one, and while I still use it, it was still bigger than I needed and would burn the bottom of the rice too. It also boiled over often, and just annoyed me.

So I started looking into a higher end rice cooker and found they get quite expensive, especially if you want a "Smart" or "Fuzzy logic" version. Of which is really the main feature of higher end rice cookers. Fuzzy logic is just a name for a rice cooker that uses a small computer to help decide whether or not it needs more heat, more time and even adjusts to how much moisture, more so on the expensive versions. (Conveniently this one also has that ability to adjust it's parameters for better rice!)

Then I found this little guy! And it's perfect! Small enough I can cook my own portion of rice, and still big enough I can make enough for 2-3 people. All while not boiling over all the time, especially with brown rice. I just made wild rice in it too and it came out perfect. My rice always comes out perfect now.

It's also very simple to use. Options from White and brown rice, quinoa, and steel cut oats. I've tried them all and have good results each time. For wild rice I just used brown rice. You can also adjust the cook time for each individual setting too. I appreciate how fast it cooks too. If your in a rush for brown rice, you can use the white rice setting, and still get good results! More importantly, I have yet to ever have burned rice! It has only lightly toasted to bottom once, but that's because I left it on warm for a while and is more my fault than it's.

It is also very easy to clean. The non stick helps a lot, and being ceramic I don't worry too much. Everything that news cleaning is easy to take apart and put back together again as well.

Overall I am very happy so far! I have some more experimenting to do yet, so I'll update later!

This rice cooker has good quality and the size is perfect for one or two people, it is quite easy to clean and in general it stays quite clean if you take care of it. The sewing times are a little long but I imagine it is related to the low energy consumption. Where I do find a problem is in the "almost tactile or raised" buttons that it has, more than once I find myself fighting because they don't work and it's not that they are broken, it's a bad combination of materials or position.

This little cutie is perfect size for me as I live alone and it works great! I eat a lot of rice and what I don’t eat for lunch and dinner I can eat as col cereal for breakfast! It is very easy to clean also! It does other things but I just use it for rice! Worth every penny!

Simple, plug it in, press the menu button until the light is over the item of your choice, adjust the timer with the plus and minus buttons, follow the water / amount directions on the guide they send with the machine for each type of food to cook, and it works perfect. Keeps your food hot too until you turn it off.

Makes enough food for me to have for dinner with minimal leftovers for the next morning when I use the full 2 cups of beans / rice. Settings work well, any beans I’ve tried besides pinto and lentils though will need longer than the one hour recommended cooking time for beans.

I have been able to make half brown rice and half lentils / pinto beans utilizing the 1 hour bean timer. This product is very exciting. I got one for my grandma.

I wish the container inside was not nonstick and was instead stainless steel, I don’t like nonstick materials and the potential health risks — and I don’t think it’s necessary with the layout of this machine. However, it is a good machine and that is my only real point of contention.

Makes things so easy. Perfect for someone working all the time or students. Very small and easy to store. Does not take up a ton of counter space.

Make sure to let the machine breathe sometimes. I wipe the top area inside with vinegar and make sure to let it dry out. It can get very moist in there and there is a small vent I’m sure things could build up in.

Excellent small batch rice cooker - just the size we needed (2cups). Non - stick - fast - easy clean up.
No boil over - less messy than the old cooker. Probably will purchase the next size up but for now this one works - fast and can do 2 batches if necessary.
